Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and accounts

VibeRoom is for people aged 18 and over. During the free launch, guests may use a temporary nickname without registering. Guests must confirm their age and agree to these terms. Registered users provide a nickname, username, email and password. Guest sessions expire and cannot recover prior conversations. Any future paid features will require an account. Do not impersonate another person, choose a misleading nickname, or share account access.

2. The service and anonymous chat

VibeRoom connects members for one-to-one text conversations with available chat partners. Standard matching does not require interests. Country and gender filters are not available during the free launch. Matches are random; availability, identity, intentions, compatibility, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

Chats are designed to be anonymous between members: your chat partner sees your chosen nickname, not your email address, password, account identifier, or payment details. Do not share personal information in chat if you want to remain anonymous.

This does not mean VibeRoom has no information about your account. We process limited account, security, chat, report, and payment-related information as described in the Privacy Notice. VibeRoom is a platform for member-to-member communication. We are not a participant in member conversations and do not pre-screen every message. A nickname or profile setting does not verify a person’s identity.

3. Safety, conduct, and enforcement

You are responsible for what you say, send, request, arrange, or do through VibeRoom. Do not harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, scam, impersonate, distribute unlawful content, attempt to involve minors, solicit illegal activity, or use the service with harmful, abusive, sexual-exploitation, fraudulent, or otherwise unsafe intent.

You can leave a conversation at any time. Dedicated report and block tools are not yet implemented; the service must not be opened publicly until suitable moderation and reporting processes are in place. We may restrict, suspend, or permanently block user access or accounts where we reasonably believe there is misuse, dangerous or deceptive intent, fraud, repeated rule-breaking, or a legal/safety need. Serious matters may be preserved or disclosed where required or permitted by law.

4. Member responsibility and liability

Members are solely responsible for their own messages, conduct, decisions, disclosures, off-platform contact, and any meeting or transaction they choose to arrange. VibeRoom does not endorse member statements and does not guarantee that another member is truthful, safe, suitable, or acting in good faith.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VibeRoom is not responsible for user-generated content, another member’s acts or omissions, losses caused by relying on another member, off-platform interactions, misuse of the service, or events outside our reasonable control. You should use your own judgment and avoid sharing sensitive information.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer, privacy, payment, or other statutory rights.

5. Premium, billing, and cancellation

Premium is not currently available for purchase. Future Premium pricing, features, renewals, cancellation and checkout terms will be presented clearly before payment is enabled.

No payments or subscriptions are accepted during the free launch.

6. Refunds and statutory rights

Payments are generally non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits merely because you changed your mind, did not use Premium, were unable to find a preferred match, or your account was restricted for misuse. This no-refund rule applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing here removes any mandatory withdrawal, refund, chargeback, or remedy right you have under applicable consumer or payment law, including rights relating to an incorrect charge or a legally relevant failure of the service.

7. Account closure and changes

You can stop using VibeRoom by ending your guest session or logging out of your account. Account deletion can be requested through the provider contact details that must be published before public launch. We may restrict or close an account for abuse, unsafe or deceptive intent, fraud, attempts to evade moderation, repeated reports, or legal/safety reasons.

We may update these terms and will identify the version and date of material changes. Where the law requires fresh consent, we will ask for it before continued use. Price or subscription changes will be communicated where required.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. You may submit a complaint through the provider contact details once they are published on this page.
